I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were unique with historical pictures which I liked, but they were not as clean as expected. The handicap room felt a bit odd, and there was a lingering smell like gas. On the positive side, the service was excellent with super friendly and helpful staff. However, being woken up by knocking on the door at 9 was quite annoying, and that dampened my overall impression. The location was convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby, but the unfortunate incident with falling sheetrock and black mold in the dining area was truly disappointing. The dining options were limited, and the absence of breakfast for the price was a letdown. Despite these issues, the value for money was still reasonable considering the facilities offered.
